Buffalo Wild Wings taps Hannah Berner, Amanda Batula in promos

The celebrities appear in ads marketing the ongoing Pick 6 Meal for Two promotion.

Buffalo Wild Wings, the official sports bar of March Madness, is teaming up with two influencers to promote its ongoing Pick 6 offer as well as another deal specifically offered on tournament game days.

The casual-dining chain is featuring entertainer and former college athlete Hannah Berner in a commercial with Buffalo Wild Wings’ mascot, Hank the flying buffalo, who ambushes her into doing a podcast on the Pick 6 Meal for Two.

Berner is herself co-host with Paige De Sorbo of the Giggly Squad podcast.

Last year DeSorbo was featured in an ad by Dunkin’, which like Buffalo Wild Wings is owned by Atlanta-based holding company Inspire Brands.

The meal deal combines boneless wings, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, and three types of potatoes — fries, tots, and wedges — for $19.99. Customers can mix and match any of those items.

The chain is also featuring reality TV personality Amanda Batula in a digital ad to promote the Pick 6 deal. In her commercial, Batula, whose divorce earlier this year has been chronicled in the Bravo TV series “Sumer House,” trying to enjoy her Pick 6 meal while being interrupted by potential suitors.

Also for March Madness, as previously announced, the chain is offering new branded merch and menu items, including a revamped sauce lineup and a collab with Dunkin’ that features the coffeehouse chain’s cold brew with Jameson Irish Whiskey, Kahlúa, Baileys Irish Cream, and vanilla.

Additionally, the chain has rolled out a 20 Wing Value Bundle for game days during the tournament that includes 20 wings, large fries, and four dips available for takeout or delivery via the Buffalo Wild Wings app or website. It’s priced at $17.99-$19.99 for boneless wings and $21.99-$24.99 for traditional wings, with pricing varying by location.

Buffalo Wild Wings has recruited other celebrities to promote its Pick 6 meal, including Heidi Gardner and Dave Burd, who were in a commercial in August promoting the return of the deal, and TikTok personality “Mr. Fantasy,” who promoted the deal in December. Also in December, Hank appeared in an animated spot with Santa Claus marketing the offer.

There are more than 1,300 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants.
