Beer slurpers don't need a tri-pack. You can fry the meat marinated in batter in just a few minutes

Chicken cutlets are a nice change from classic schnitzels. You let the pieces of meat rest overnight in a flavored beer batter with mustard and soy sauce. The next day, you fry them in just a few minutes until golden brown.

You can fry chicken breasts in breadcrumbs, but they also look great in batter. In the recipe for beer battered chicken breasts, you cut the meat into smaller medallions and put them straight into a mixture of beer, mustard, and soy sauce. After resting, you can go straight to frying.

How to prepare beer raras

  • For one batch of beer battered dumplings you will need
  • 500 g of chicken breast
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of Solamyl
  • 3 tablespoons of mustard
  • 100 ml of beer
  • 3 tablespoons of plain flour
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, salt and oil for frying
  • Prepare the batter the day before: Mix the eggs with beer, soy sauce, mustard, Solamyl and plain flour into a smooth batter.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into smaller medallions, place them in the batter and let them rest for 24 hours. Thanks to the longer resting time, you don't have to re-coat the meat before frying and all the pieces will be evenly coated with the seasoned mixture.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the seasoned chicken pieces until golden brown.
  • Serve them with vegetables, mashed potatoes, homemade fries, or another favorite side dish.

French fries or croquettes?

Fried chicken pieces go well with various potato side dishes, and everyone has their own favorite. Do you prefer crispy fries with beer-battered rarášky, or do you prefer golden croquettes? Vote in the following duel - with one click you can answer and find out how other voting readers feel.

Beer rarášky are best served freshly fried, when the batter on the surface is at its most pleasant. Fluffy mashed potatoes, French fries, and a simple vegetable salad go well with the tender chicken. If you are preparing a larger quantity, fry the meat in batches so that the oil does not cool down too much.
