Simple one-pan cake

A light, fluffy base, a cream of mascarpone and cream, and jam that adds freshness. Thanks to the clever folding of the strips, a beautiful spiral cake is created that will catch your eye at first glance. An original cake without unnecessary complexity.

Ingredients · Servings 1 where
  • Body:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1.5 cups plain flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • Filling:
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 250 ml whipping cream 33%
  • 50 g caster sugar
  • strawberry jam
  • For decoration:
  • fruit (to taste)
  • fit
Method · 45 min
  1. In a bowl, mix plain flour, caster sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, milk and eggs.
  2. Mix everything thoroughly, pour the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180 °C for about 15 minutes until golden brown. After baking, let the base cool.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare the cream. In a bowl, beat the mascarpone, cream and sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread the cooled cake with marmalade and part of the mascarpone cream.
  5. Then cut the base into equally wide strips, which we gradually roll into a roll and fold together until they form the entire cake.
  6. Finally, spread the remaining cream over the entire cake and decorate with fresh fruit and mint.
