Quick cellar stew

Ingredients · Servings 6
  • 20 dkg Smoked bacon
  • 2 large heads of Red Onion
  • Only
  • 3 tbsp Red pepper
  • Water
  • 1.2 kg Pork shoulder
  • Breast
  • 35 dkg of farmer's sausage
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 25 dkg Tomatoes
  • 25 dkg of TV paprika
  • 1.2 kg Potatoes
Method · 1 h 45 min
  1. For the quick cellar stew recipe, melt the diced bacon fat in a saucepan or pot, then add the chopped red onion and sauté until translucent. Season with salt, then remove from the heat, sprinkle with red pepper, and pour in a little water.
  2. Add the meat cut into equal cubes, salt and pepper, mix thoroughly and let it soften slightly. In the meantime, replace the evaporated liquid if necessary.
  3. Cut the sausage into rings and add to the stew base, along with the crushed garlic and cumin. Stir and let it cook.
  4. Chop the tomatoes and peppers and add them to the stew. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Peel the potatoes and cut them into equal pieces. When the meat is almost done, add the potatoes, mix well, add more liquid if necessary, and cook until the potatoes and meat are completely tender. Serve with fresh bread and pickles.
