Oatmeal pancake made from oat flour

Oatmeal pancake made from oat flour

For those who prefer a tasty, filling, and healthy breakfast, I suggest you join me in making an oatmeal pancake using oat flour. Unlike oatmeal pancakes made with oat flakes, this baked good has a smooth, fluffy, and softer consistency. Furthermore, the dough doesn't require any additional "resting"—just combine everything and you're ready to bake. This is perfect if you're short on time for breakfast. Instead of milk, you can add water, kefir, or drinking yogurt to the dough. The filling can also be varied, not necessarily sweet.

Ingredients

Chicken egg - 2 pcs.

Milk (or water) - 2 tbsp.

Salt - a pinch

Vegetable oil - for frying

Banana - 0.5 pcs.

Honey - 1 tsp.

The diameter of my frying pan is 24 cm

Cooking process

So, let's prepare all the necessary ingredients and start making oatmeal pancakes from oat flour.

Beat the eggs in a deep bowl, add a pinch of salt and a couple of tablespoons of milk or clean filtered water. Whisk until smooth.

Then add oat flour and mix again.

The oatmeal pancake batter should be smooth, not too runny, but not too thick (as in the photo).

Grease the frying pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil, heat it well and pour in the prepared dough, forming one large piece.

Bake the oatmeal pancake over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Turn over with a wide wooden or silicone spatula.

Transfer the finished pancake to a flat plate. Place thinly sliced banana on one half. Fold the pancake in half to enclose the filling, then drizzle with a little honey or condensed milk.

Here is our oatmeal pancake made from oat flour, you can serve it and start your meal.

Bon appetit!
