Cinnamon cookies without butter: enjoy them at tea time

These butter-free cinnamon cookies are truly delicious, a little different from traditional cookies, perfect for teatime. Let's take a look at the quick recipe!

Butterless Cinnamon Cookies: Perfect for Dipping

These butter-free cinnamon cookies are the perfect choice, perfect for serving with tea, even if you're planning an afternoon with friends. A combination of flavors that won't disappoint. The ingredients needed to make them are simple and readily available. The only tip is to choose an organic lemon, since you'll be using the peel.

To make the perfect cookies, we used a round cookie cutter, but the choice is yours: you can make the cookies in any shape. Here's the quick recipe to follow step by step.

Ingredients

1 egg

80 g of sugar

250 g of flour

50 ml of sunflower seed oil

80 g of milk

a little cinnamon

1 teaspoon of yeast

grated zest of a lemon

Procedure

To prepare these biscuits, place the egg, sugar, flour, oil and milk in a bowl, mix all the ingredients well so that everything is combined.

Gradually add the yeast, cinnamon, and grated lemon zest. Stop mixing when the mixture is smooth and lump-free.

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. After this time, remove the shortcrust pastry from the freezer.

Roll it out between two sheets of baking paper, use a pastry cutter to make the biscuits, place them one by one and spaced apart on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and let cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, enjoy your cinnamon cookies.

Have a good break!
