Oatmeal cookies with chocolate and banana, preparation
To make this recipe, start by peeling the banana, placing it in a bowl, and mashing it with a fork. Next, add the unsweetened cocoa powder, the grated zest of half a lemon, and the dark chocolate chips.
Mix well until the mixture is as smooth as possible. Once this is done, all that's left to do is form the cookies; the shape is yours. You can make them into balls or the classic flat cookies; the only difference will be the baking time; smaller and flatter ones will take less time to bake.
Once the cookies are shaped, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180°C in a preheated oven. Once baked, let them cool on a wire rack, remove them from the pan (otherwise they would continue to cook), and serve. They can be stored for 3-4 days in an airtight container.
