Sugar-Free Brioche: The Perfect Spring Recipe

The dessert I want to tell you about today is without a doubt one of the best I've ever eaten, and it's also perfect for those following a weight-loss diet. My nutritionist also recommended this dessert, reminding me that there are many sweeteners that can replace sugar, but with significantly fewer calories.

To prepare this recipe, the ingredients we will need are:

  • 150 g of flour,
  • 100g vanilla Greek yogurt,
  • 1 egg,
  • 80 ml of rice vegetable milk,
  • Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract,.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder,
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil,
  • 1 ripe banana,
  • Blueberries as needed.

Let's prepare sugar-free brioche for breakfast together

While reading the recipe, you've probably wondered why ripe banana is one of the main ingredients: it's precisely this that gives our brioche its sweetness, without the need for sugar. We start with the banana, puréeing it and mixing it with the yogurt; then, add the eggs called for in the recipe, creating a very creamy mixture. Next, add the vanilla extract and milk, then continue with the flour, using a sieve to avoid lumps. Proceed in the same way with the baking powder.

Once the mixture is smooth and creamy, transfer it to a muffin pan lined with parchment paper or greased and floured. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the brioche is golden brown and cooked through.

Our sugar-free brioche will be ready to serve, letting us be overwhelmed by their intense and irresistible flavor.
