“taking Walk & Talk off the paths and around the dinner table”

The account recently announced details of a special new dinner party, focused on fostering friendship, with Open to Talk. Walk & Talk was an idea cooked up by founder Henry Duff while he was, rather fittingly, on a walk.

Reflecting on how it was easy to feel stuck in the same routines, he decided to organise relaxed group walks across the city. In doing so, he created a space for people to, as the name suggest, walk and talk.

And now he’s adding to his roster of events with a ‘Talks & Tagliatelle End of Summer Dinner Party’, with Open to Talk.

Talks & Tagliatelle

To ring in the end of summer, Walk & Talk is “taking Walk & Talk off the paths and around the dinner table”.

They’re throwing a dinner party at Hackney’s Elephant restaurant on September 9. It’s “all about good food, good chats and meeting new people.”

Attendees can come with friends or on their own. It’s a welcoming environment for anyone that wants to attend.

And you’re sure to leave with new friends you might never have met otherwise! On the night, diners can expect:

  • 2 courses – pizza and pasta
  • Wine included (and even some free White Claws!)
  • Dinner party games
  • And a room full of people ready to meet each other

There are limited seats available around the table, so if you’re keen to meet new people and make some new friends then be sure to grab a ticket! 📍 Elephant, 43 Lower Clapton Road, E5 0NS. 🚇 The nearest stations are Hackney Central and Hackney Downs.

🕰️ September 9, 2026, 7 – 10pm. 🍝 Grab your ticket for the dinner party here.
