Halloween Cheesy Pretzel Broomsticks

Looking for a fun, no-fuss and super easy-to-make treat to celebrate Halloween?

Halloween Cheesy Pretzel Broomsticks

Chef Giorgos Tsoulis has you covered with these playful broom-shaped pretzels. Made with simple ingredients like pretzel sticks, cheese slices, and fresh chives, they come together in minutes and are as charming as they are tasty. This quick, vegetarian-friendly snack is perfect for Halloween parties, kids’ school events, or just a spooky night in.

Light, crunchy, and full of festive flair, these edible “witches’ brooms” will delight both children and adults alike. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 20 salted pretzel sticks
  • 5 slices soft gouda or mozzarella cheese (or another type of soft cheese)
  • chives (to secure)

Instructions

  • Lay a slice of cheese flat and cut it into 4 strips—think of them as little cheesy ribbons.
  • Take a pretzel stick and roll a cheese strip around one end like a mini wizard’s wand.
  • Secure by tying gently with a chive. Trim any excess chive with scissors.
  • Repeat until you have a whole army of cheesy pretzel wands.
  • Serve right away and enjoy the crunch-meets-gooey magic!
