7 Luxury Brand Cafes In Singapore To Check Out—LV Chocolaterie, Coach Cafe And More

If there’s one trend that made it out of 2024, it’s the hype around new cafes opened by lifestyle brands and luxury fashion labels.

With the growing number of such brands venturing into Singapore’s dynamic food scene, we’ve put together a list of seven luxury brand cafes in Singapore to check out for a unique experience. Update: Coach Cafe has rebranded to The Coach Bar.

• 1. Prada Cafe

If you’re a Prada girlie, head down to ION Orchard and check out Prada Cafe, which recently opened its doors in December 2024. You’ll be treated to a gorgeous assortment of cakes and chocolates by Marchesi 1824, a renowned pastry shop from Milan with 200 years of history. The Berries Tartelet ($24++), featuring a shortcrust pastry base with fresh custard and berries, is a popular pick for tea time.

Otherwise, there’s also a decent range of cakes for your consideration, including Tiramisu ($24++), Hazelnut ($24++), and Pistachio ($24++). Complete the experience with a cuppa joe; the Macchiato ($9++) or Cappuccino ($12++) are excellent picks.

• 2. Coach Cafe

You’re missing out if you have yet to visit the world’s first Coach Cafe, located along Keong Saik Road. Popular local coffee house Brawn & Brains heads the kitchen, whipping up a neat selection of all-day breakfast items, pastries, desserts and more.

Their Classic Pancakes ($17++) are a must-try; these buttery pancakes come with a side of maple syrup, house-made kaya, and a tangy mixed berries jam. It’s finished with a slab of cold butter in the shape of “Rexy” dinosaur, an icon of the brand.

• 3. Audemars Piguet Cafe

Nestled in the historic Raffles Hotel Bar & Billiard Room is the world’s first Audemars Piguet (AP) Cafe. The new cafe is headed by famous restaurant Burnt Ends, so you can expect a stellar menu of well-executed pastries and mains here.

On our recent visit, we enjoyed the Short Rib Raclette Pie ($38++), which featured smoked beef cooked down with beef jus, simmering in a bed of potatoes, bacon, and pickled onions, then topped with raclette cheese and puff pastry. The Gula Melaka Pain Suisse ($8++) was another standout; this pastry was buttery and flaky on the outside, filled with a rich gula melaka middle.

• 4. Ralph’s Coffee

Popular American fashion label Ralph Lauren made waves online when they first launched Ralph’s Coffee, the brand’s cafe arm, at Marina Bay Sands in 2023. The cafe must be doing something right, as they recently opened their second outlet at Shaw House in Orchard!

Treat yourself to a slice of Ralph’s Chocolate Cake ($14), where super fudgy chocolate cake layers alternate between rich chocolate cream. If you’re not big on chocolate, check out their Coconut Cake ($14) or Ralph’s Cheesecake ($13), a classic New York-style cheesecake, instead. You’ll also find the Singapore-exclusive Ralph’s Coffee Soft Serve ($9) here, made with the brand’s house roast.

• 5. Marimekko Cafe

Not only has Finnish design company Marimekko entered the Singapore market independently with their flagship store at ION Orchard, they’ve also launched their very own Marimekko Cafe on the same premises. The tastefully designed space is fitted in the brand’s signature prints, and you get to dine using their chio plateware, too.

The food menu is concise with dainty desserts such as Mango Mousse Cake ($11.90++), a bright yellow entremet with mango jelly in the middle, and Lemon Meringue Tart ($12.90++). Those who don’t have a sweet tooth can order their savoury Mexican Beef Pie ($11.90++), which comes with large chunks of beef, or Truffle Brie & Ham on Sourdough ($15.90++) instead.

• 6. Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic

Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic, a chocolaterie by Louis Vuitton, caused quite a stir when they opened in February 2024.

The luxury chocolate shop at Marina Bay Sands is the brand’s first overseas outlet. During our visit last year, only three products were in stock: Coated Hazelnuts ($44), Chocolate Bar ($30), and Chocolate, Hazelnut and Vanilla Spread ($50).

We were particularly impressed with the latter, a premium chocolate spread made with cocoa beans that are sourced from Peru, organic Madagascan vanilla, and sea salt. The spread was smooth and creamy, with the rich chocolate pairing well with the buttery and nutty hazelnut—think atas Nutella.

• 7. Audi x Burnt Ends Bakery

The next time you’re in the CBD, visit Audi x Burnt Ends Bakery, a new cafe at the Audi showroom along Cross Street. The 30-seater houses an interactive coffee bar offering a wide range of filter to single-origin coffees, alongside signature concoctions such as Tiramisu Latte. You can expect German-inspired pastries and light bites that are exclusive to the Audi cafe, including an Apple Strudel Doughnut (price TBD) and Black Forest Doughnut (price TBD), which consists of cherries, dark chocolate, kirsch liqueur, and vanilla bean Chantilly cream.
