Brownies with forest fruits

Brownies with forest fruits

Brownies with forest fruits will delight you with their intense chocolate flavor, which is pleasantly complemented by fresh fruit. The combination of dark and milk chocolate gives the dessert a rich flavor, and the forest fruits in the dense dough create a juicy fruity contrast.

Ingredients · Servings 1 dose
  • 275 g dark chocolate
  • 75 g milk chocolate
  • 225 g butter
  • 75 g plain flour
  • 175 g of forest fruits
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g cane sugar
  • Further:
  • butter for greasing the mold
  • plain flour for dusting the mold
  • For decoration:
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 100 g of forest fruits
  • a few lemon balm leaves
Method · 1 h 10 min
  1. Break the dark chocolate into smaller pieces and melt in a water bath. Cut the butter into smaller pieces, add to the chocolate and let it melt. Stir and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  2. Coarsely grate the milk chocolate. Sift the flour with baking powder and mix with the grated milk chocolate. Wash the berries and let them dry well.
  3. Preheat the oven to 170 °C in good time. Beat the eggs with the cane sugar until light foamy. Add the cooled chocolate mixture and then the flour mixture. Mix briefly and finally carefully stir in the forest fruits.
  4. Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with plain flour. Transfer the dough into it and smooth the surface.
  5. Place the brownies in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 50 minutes. Then let them cool completely so they are easy to slice.
  6. Whip the cream until stiff. Cut the cooled brownies into cubes and decorate with whipped cream, forest fruits and lemon balm leaves before serving.
