Canteen hygiene isn't just about detergents: machines, consulting, and training are needed
Professional cleaning is a fundamental part of the supply chain that keeps foodservice operations running every day. Before and after service, in school, hospital, company, and care facility cafeterias, hygiene and sanitation are as essential as meal preparation.
Francesco Carpentieri, CEO of Clintex, during his speech on the sidelines of IMMENSE.
The company distributes products, systems, workwear, and industrial cleaning machines, complementing its supply with consulting, technical assistance, training, and on-site inspections. "Our company, which has been in business for over thirty years, has developed over time the needs of the industry, particularly those of the service sector, such as cleaning and catering, regarding hygiene and sanitization," explains Francesco Carpentieri, CEO of Clintex.
From product selection to kitchen sanitization
The company's role therefore goes beyond simply selling detergents. Clintex focuses on selecting professional hygiene solutions, offering pre- and post-sales technical advice. The catalog includes cleaning products, equipment, professional machinery, and room management systems. The company also maintains a 4,000-square-meter warehouse and a nationwide delivery network.
For cafeterias, this means addressing one of the aspects that contribute to safety and continuity of service: the cleanliness of the premises and equipment. "We operate in both the facility sector and, as I mentioned, also in the food service sector, including the HoReCa sector, from hotels and catering to nursing homes and retirement homes," Carpentieri emphasizes.
The manager describes the approach as that of a technical partner who assists the client in selecting solutions. "We act as partners to jointly decide on the best solutions for keeping a kitchen clean," he explains. The service includes the selection of materials and sanitization systems, but can also extend to professional kitchen equipment, its installation, and the management of chemical distribution systems.
A supply that also includes assistance and control
It's precisely this integration between product and service that characterizes the Clintex model. The company also offers assistance and maintenance for professional cleaning machines, as well as training sessions for staff and technical inspections aimed at identifying solutions consistent with environmental needs and safety regulations.
Sustainability is also part of the company's philosophy: on its website, Clintex lists among its objectives the reduction of plastic consumption, the use of lower-impact detergents and disposable products of natural origin, along with the search for energy-saving solutions.
Clintex a IMMENSE 2026
This focus on the mass catering industry also brought Clintex to IMMENSE 2026, where it participated as a Premium Partner and Carpentieri participated in the sector-specific discussion. Among the topics discussed at the event were disposable tableware and the new European regulations, in a context where sustainability, safety, and efficiency are becoming increasingly important factors in operators' decisions.
Clintex's presence at IMMENSE reaffirms its position within the supply chain: not just a company that supplies cleaning products, but a partner that works alongside catering companies to manage the hygiene, equipment, and processes behind every canteen service.
