Cooking: oven, 180° for 50 minutes.

  • a bowl
  • a whip
  • a spatula
  • a 22 cm diameter mold
  • Ingredients
  • 4/5 of a glass of cake flour
  • 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 100 g of hazelnuts
  • a couple of eggs + 1 yolk
  • 4/5 of a 125g stick of butter
  • organic orange zest to taste
  • powdered sugar to taste

Delicious hazelnut cake, procedure

Cream the butter and sugar together, then fold in the eggs one at a time, followed by the yolk. Season with the grated orange zest and the sifted flour and baking powder. Finally, fold in the chopped hazelnuts.

Thoroughly mix all the ingredients and pour the mixture evenly into a greased and floured 22 cm cake pan. Level the surface and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50 minutes. Once cooked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
