Certified natural cosmetics - It is not mandatory to certify products formulated with a natural approach, but there are external inspection organizations that have certain brands inspected and certified according to their criteria (including a list of prohibited substances): which obviously represents a business-marketing advantage in the cosmetic products market.
Organic cosmetics - This type of product must always be certified! The certification body checks it at least once a year according to its own criteria. During this process, not only the organic (from organic agricultural production) raw materials are checked, but also the recipe, production technology, storage, labeling, etc. and only after this can the product receive the organic or x% organic certification.
