Creamy langos with blue cheese

Creamy langos with blue cheese

We all know classic langos. But let's try making them with a slight variation - add sour cream to the dough, and spread the finished, still hot langos with a mixture of thick white yogurt mixed with garlic and grated blue cheese.

Ingredients · Servings 1 dose
  • 400 g plain flour
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 small egg
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • salt
  • frying oil
  • For rubbing:
  • thick white yogurt
  • grated blue cheese to taste
  • minced garlic to taste
  • salt (carefully)
Method · 35 min
  1. Mix the eggs with the cream. Add salt and soda to the flour. Add the cream and gradually add the milk. Make a dough that does not stick to the bowl.
  2. Scoop out pieces with a spoon (add more flour if necessary), form a loaf and flatten it into a pancake. Place in hot oil and fry on both sides. Place on a paper towel.
  3. Mix the yogurt with cheese, garlic and season to taste. Brush the langos with the prepared yogurt mixture and sprinkle with grated cheese.
