Cottage cheese rolls in the oven
To bake cottage cheese kalachi in the oven, prepare the ingredients according to the recipe list. I used 9% cottage cheese, but you can use any kind.
In a deep bowl, combine cottage cheese, granulated sugar, odorless vegetable oil and chicken eggs.
Using an immersion blender, beat the mixture until smooth.
Then add the sifted wheat flour and baking powder. Since flour varies from person to person, you may need slightly more or less than the amount listed. Therefore, don't add it all at once, but in small portions, mixing well each time to control the consistency of the dough.
The curd dough should be soft, slightly moist, but not sticky to your hands.
Divide it into 10 equal parts, approximately 65 grams each. For accuracy, you can use a kitchen scale.
Lightly flour the work surface and roll each piece of dough into a long rope (as shown in the photo).
Then, connect the ends of the rope together to form a ring. Form all the pieces in this manner.
Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. Brush the surface of the kalachi with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Place the baking tray with the ingredients in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake the cottage cheese kalachi in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until beautifully golden brown. The exact cooking time will depend on your oven; use the color as a guide. Cool the baked goods on a wire rack.
That's it, the delicious cottage cheese kalachi are ready to be served.
Enjoy your tea!
