From muah chee gelato to Thai milk tea bingsu, we’ve come up with a list of late-night dessert spots and cafes that close after 11pm, so you can grab a quick bite whenever you’re feeling the munchies.

• 1. Delato

Homegrown ice cream parlour Delato has two outlets: Tampines East and Downtown East. The dessert cafe opens till 12am on Fridays and Saturdays, making it the perfect supper spot for Easties!

If you’re visiting their Pasir Ris branch, try their Blue Pea Mochi Waffle ($7.50), an outlet-exclusive that’s packed with chewy and stretchy mochi, pairing well with their gelato. If you’re not a mochi fan, get the Original Buttermilk Waffle ($6.50) instead. You can expect around 12 different flavours of gelato available daily, priced at $4.20 per scoop for regular flavours and $5 for premium flavours.

• 2. Parvifolia

Here’s another late-night dessert cafe for Easties: Parvifolia. The Bedok cafe opens till 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, so you can drop by when the midnight cravings hit! There are 18 ice cream flavours to choose from each time, ranging from floral flavours such as Chrysanthemum Honeysuckle and Honey Lavender to decadent flavours including Honeycomb Macadamia.

Apparently, new seasonal flavours are introduced every quarter, so you can try something different every visit! A Single Scoop costs $5.20 for the classic flavours, while the premium flavours cost an additional $1 each.

• 3. Tian Wang Desserts

If you’re into mahjong, visit Tian Wang Desserts, a mahjong-themed cafe. Tian Wang Desserts offers both hot and cold traditional Chinese desserts with a slight twist.

The Mango Pomelo Sago ($8.20) uses fresh mango and puree, which come atop shaved ice for a refreshing dessert. You can also go for their Soursop Popping ($7.20), served with popping boba and real soursop fruit.

• 4. Burnt Cones

Here’s one for the Westies: Burnt Cones offers an array of desserts and brunch food till late. Pick your choice of cone ($1)—light, medium or dark—to go with your gelato. The light, which is the least burnt, has a buttery undertone, the medium is your regular waffle cone, and the dark has a slight bitterness to it.

A single scoop of gelato is priced from $5, while a double scoop starts at $9. Top-ups are required for premium flavours.

For a roasted, nutty flavour, get their Pistachio ice cream, or go for the refreshing Blood Orange Thyme sorbet! Their Buttermilk Waffles ($8), said to be fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, are another noteworthy item on the menu.

• 5. Wan Wan Thai Cafe

Centrally located in Bencoolen, Wan Wan Thai Cafe serves up a wide variety of bingsu flavours and waffles to satisfy your supper cravings. Their Milk Tea Bingsu ($10.90++) features Thai milk tea flavoured shaved ice, topped with a scoop of Thai milk tea ice cream, and sprinkled with cookie crumbs. • 6. After Hours

One of our favourite late-night dessert spots is After Hours, a dessert cafe that opens till 2am every day. Located just three minutes away by foot from Haw Par Villa MRT Station, you can try a range of waffles, toasts, gelato, and drinks here. Their Churros Mochi Waffle ($8.50) is a must-get for a winning combination of chewy waffle and sweet cinnamon sugar.

We recommend getting a scoop of their gelato to go with it, priced at $5 for a single scoop and $9 for a double scoop. Premium flavours require a $1 top-up per scoop.

• 7. Momolato

Another specialist gelato store is Momolato, which is also the current Asia Pacific Gelato World Tour Champion! Their halal gelato is said to be the best in Asia, so you definitely have to check this place out.

Momolato has both waffles and croffles, AKA croissant waffles. Their thick, fluffy waffles and chewy croffles come served with a side of gula melaka caramel sauce and mascarpone vanilla cream. Choose from waffle options, including Buttermilk ($7.50) and Truffle ($10).

• 8. Lickers

Amidst the numerous ice cream shops in Singapore, Lickers is another late-night spot perfectly suited for heartlanders to fix their sweet tooth cravings. Their ice cream start at $4.30 for a single scoop, and $7.80 for two. For a classic taste, get their Honey Comb and Speculoos.

Alternatively, you can top up $0.80 for something different—Oolong Lavender or Cranberry Citrusy. If you’re pairing your ice cream with a waffle, go for their set, priced at $8.

• 9. Gong He Guan

Gong He Guan offers traditional desserts at affordable prices. Originating from Hong Kong, this dessert spot serves Chinese-style desserts and opens till 2am daily—great for those who stay up till late. Go for either the Yam Paste with Pumpkin and Ginkgo Nut ($5.50) for a simple, traditional dessert, or the Sesame Paste ($4.50) if you prefer something that is rich and creamy.

For a more refreshing option, try their Mango Pudding ($5). Do note that only the Geylang Road store is open past 11pm.

Oblong is another notable cafe popular among night owls for their sugar-loaded waffles. Try their classic flavours, including Banana Nutella and Teh Tarik.

Durian lovers will enjoy what Dessert First has to offer. The Durian Snow Ice ($11.50) is made with real durian flesh, and is topped with durian cream as a final touch.

If you’re not a fan of durian, they also have Mango Snow Ice ($10.50), filled with mango flesh and puree. For a more traditional Chinese dessert, go for Sesame Paste with Tang Yuan ($5.80) or Gingko Barley ($5.80).

When it comes to unique gelato, Hay Gelato is a place not to be missed. Unlike the usual, rounded scoop, here they made a slight dent at the top to sprinkle a complimentary topping of your choice.

Start with a classic flavour such as Roasted Pistachio, or go for their signature Smoked Hay, infused with real smoked hay for an extra depth of flavour. Prices for their gelato range betwen $5 to $6 per scoop.

2am: Dessertbar is a dessert restaurant that, despite its name, is open till 2am. Loved for their classy ambience and elegant desserts, you won’t regret making a reservation here.

Run by local dessert extraordinaire Janice Wong, they serve contemporary takes on desserts such as Shades Of Green ($23++), featuring a pistachio sponge topped with pandan kaya ice cream, coconut foam, pandan yoghurt, and finished with tuile. Do note that the menu is subject to changes.

Grin Affair, a late-night dessert cafe with popular jar cakes, has been around since 2011. You can get their cakes in signature flavours such as Lychee Passionfruit & Roasted Pistachio ($9.90), which has sweet, sour, and nutty notes, or a simpler Vanilla & Strawberry ($8.90).

Cold Flings is a relatively new late-night dessert cafe in Sengkang decked out in neon lights and cute decor, perfect for that IG-worthy shot of their signature waffles, gelato, and acai. Try their Chocolate Indulgence that’s made with collagen and probiotics, or Blue Pea Sea Salt that’s said to have floral notes.

Single scoops start from $4.50, and you can also add on a Butter or Pandan waffle for $7. For something refreshing, choose from their acai cups, offered in medium ($10.90) and large ($14.90) sizes.
