Honey-mustard turkey sandwich

Honey-mustard turkey sandwich

For the marinated radishes, mix the vinegar and powdered sugar in water, then cut the washed radishes into thin slices, place them in the marinade, and place them in the freezer while you prepare the rest of the dish.

Put the minced meat in a mixing bowl and add the onion, cut into very small cubes. If you can't cut the onion very, very finely, fry it in a little oil for 2-3 minutes and add it to the meat. Then season with chili flakes, dried thyme, crushed garlic and cumin, salt and pepper, and mix the meat well.

Heat oil in a frying pan. With slightly damp or oiled hands, roll the dough into small balls 8-10 cm long and about 3 cm in diameter and fry them over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.

While the meat is cooking, mix the honey with the mustard. When it is cooked, remove the meat to a board, drizzle with the honey-mustard mixture, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

For the sauce, mix the mustard and honey in the ketchup.

Cut the baguette in half, spread both sides with the ketchup sauce, then place the lettuce leaves on the bottom, then the radishes that have been drained of the vinegar juice, and finally the meat at a slight angle. Place the other half of the baguette on top, then cut our sandwich into small 3-5 cm slices and pierce it with a wooden skewer. Place the bites on a plate or board and eat them with gusto.
