Peach Barbeque Sauce

Peach Barbeque Sauce

Add a burst of summer sweetness to your grilling with this vibrant peach barbecue sauce. Made with ripe peaches, a touch of tangy mustard, and just enough acidity to keep things balanced, it delivers a smooth, lightly smoky flavor that complements rather than overpowers.

Ingredients · Servings 1
  • 5 cup peaches (,peeled and pitted)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 shallots (finely chopped)
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt (to taste)
Method · 40 min
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and shallots and sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the tomato paste and Dijon mustard and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the peaches, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes, until the peaches are very soft.
  4. Purée the mixture until smooth using a blender or immersion blender. Season with salt to taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if needed.

Brush it over pork or chicken skewers, spoon it onto grilled fish, or use it anywhere you want a fresh, fruity twist on classic barbecue.

Enjoy!
