This quiet Kovan mall houses a large collection of niche bakeries and dessert specialists, making it a go-to spot for those who prefer their pastries freshly made to order. Here, we’ve compiled the 10 best Promenade at Pelikat food spots for fresh shio pan, legit Korean food and more.

• 1. 1816bakes

Pronounced “eighteen sixteen”, 1816bakes crafts exquisite, small-batch shio pan and cream-filled buns that are made to pre-order. Their soft, golden, and buttery OG Shio Pan ($3.30) is their bestseller, and you can also find a rotating selection of fillings every month. March’s lineup includes Vanilla Marscapone Creme ($6.30) and Crab Rangoon ($6.30), with the cream served in a separate tub for you to pipe, swirl, or spread however you wish.
