Method: Shrimp Skewers (Brochetas de Gambas)
Ingredients · Servings 5
  • 50-60 shrimp (medium sized)
  • 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 5-6 wooden skewers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Salt
  • paprika
Method · 10 min
  1. Coat the part of the skewers where the shrimp will go with olive oil
  2. Peel the shrimp and stick them on the skewer trying to keep it as symmetric as possible.
  3. Chop the 3 cloves of garlic, then coat the skewers with the garlic and olive oil adding salt and a generous amount of paprika to taste.
  4. Grill the shrimp on one side until they begin to turn white, then turn them over to cook on the other side.
  5. Serve with a slice of fresh bread and ali-oli (garlic mayonnaise)
