  • Puff pastry 8 oz
  • Stracchino cheese 7 oz
  • Datterino tomatoes 4.6 oz
  • Extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Thyme dry to taste
Method · 55 min
  1. To prepare the savory tart with cherry tomatoes and stracchino, first line a baking pan about 8 2/3 in (22 cm) in diameter with a sheet of parchment paper 1 . Unroll the puff pastry and place it in the pan 2 , then fold the edge to form a double thickness 3 .
  2. Dock the base of the pastry so it doesn't puff up during baking 4 and cover with another sheet of parchment 5 . Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 392°F for 15 minutes. After this time, remove from the oven and discard the parchment, then continue baking for another 5 minutes until golden 6 .
  3. Meanwhile, put the stracchino in a bowl 7 and season with extra virgin olive oil 8 and a grind of black pepper 9 . Mix to combine.
  4. Slice the datterino cherry tomatoes into rounds 10 . Take the baked pastry and spread the stracchino 11 , smoothing well with the back of a spoon 12 .
  5. Cover the surface with the cherry tomatoes 13 , flavor with fresh thyme 14 and drizzle with a little oil. Bake at 392°F for 10 minutes. Your savory tart with cherry tomatoes and stracchino is ready to be served 15 !
