McDonald’s Scrambled Egg Burger is back

McDonald’s Scrambled Egg Burger Returns

If you believe that eggs are essential to start your mornings, then you’ll be glad to hear that McDonald’s has brought back the Scrambled Egg Burger, available at all outlets during breakfast hours.

For those unfamiliar with this burger, it’s a seasonal item that McDonald’s has been bringing back each year for some time now. So while it’s back this month, you should definitely drop by your nearest McDonald’s outlet to get your hands on this breakfast treat. There are two types to choose from.

The Scrambled Egg Burger with Sausage ($5.50) features a juicy chicken sausage patty—the same one used in classics such as the Sausage McMuffin—cheese, mayonnaise, and of course, scrambled eggs. The eggs are really quite fluffy and fairly substantial, making this quite the hearty breakfast dish.

And then there’s the Scrambled Egg Burger with Chicken ($5.50), which swaps out the aforementioned sausage with a crispy chicken patty. The chicken-and-egg combination is as tried and true as it gets, so what you’re getting with this is a reliable and moreish burger.

A meal with these burgers—inclusive of a drink and a hash brown—costs $7.10 on the McDonald’s app. We’ll update this article when we have more information about the in-store prices. In other McDonald’s news, the fast food giant recently launched the Yakiniku Burger (from $8.90), also available for a limited time only.

This burger is available in both beef and chicken versions. The former comes with a Quarter Pounder beef patty and a savoury yakiniku sauce, topped with caramelised onions and crisp shredded white cabbage, held between soft semolina buns.
