Chiyoda Sushi: Japan-Famous Takeaway Sushi Chain To Open In SG Soon

Not all sushi takeaway chains are made equal, with some offering better quality ingredients than others.

Chiyoda Sushi, a popular chain from Japan that’s set to open its first Singapore outlet in Plaza Singapura, looks to be one such standout. We hear that this outlet will be opening its doors sometime this month in September 2024!

For the uninitiated, Chiyoda Sushi is a giant chain in Japan’s sushi scene, with over 200 outlets there and a history that stretches back to 1959. This means they’ve been around for over 60 years!

This Singapore branch is set to have its ingredients air-flown directly from Toyko’s Toyosu Market, so you can be sure there’s going to be fresh sushi here. All of Chiyoda Sushi’s creations are made on-site each day. While we aren’t sure exactly what will be offered at the Singapore outpost, the brand is known for its assorted sushi set, fish-in-season set, sushi rolls, inari sushi and more.

We’ll update this article as soon as we have more information, so keep your eyes peeled! If you’d like to get some takeaway sushi right now, check out Itacho Sushi’s takeaway kiosk, located just outside Bishan MRT Station. Here, you can bring home customisable sushi plates, with each sushi priced as low as $0.50.

There are options such as inari sushi, salmon nigiri, and even unique creations that make use of truffle olive sauce. Else, have a look at the viral sushi pizza in our Maguro Brothers coverage!
