Steiner Winery is an innovative family business located on the southern slopes of Mount Irchel in Dättlikon, near Winterthur. With a long winemaking tradition, the winery combines artisanal expertise with a modern, forward-thinking approach. What was once a mixed farm has transformed over the years into a high-quality, independent winery.
On approximately 5.2 hectares of vineyards, wines with character are crafted, the result of meticulous care that clearly reflects their origin. The sunny slopes of Irchel offer ideal conditions for a wide variety of grapes. In addition to classics like Riesling-Silvaner, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir, the selection includes specialties such as Zweigelt and Merlot. Furthermore, fungal-resistant varieties, such as the recently planted Sauvignier Gris and Léon Millot, promote sustainable viticulture.
The vineyard is cultivated in harmony with nature and with great respect for the soil, the vines, and the environment. The grapes are harvested with care and delicately processed in our own winery. Precise winemaking ensures that the grapes' natural aromas are preserved to the fullest. Depending on the wine, stainless steel tanks or wooden barrels are used, which impart structure, depth, and individuality.

Sales are primarily conducted directly at the winery. Sales days, tastings, and events such as winery open days or the popular pomace sausage luncheon create opportunities for personal encounters and offer a firsthand look at the Steiner winery.
