Baked potatoes, delicious, simply cooked in a pan. A decidedly economical dish that needs to be cooked slowly, though. Potatoes are one of those side dishes that are incredibly satisfying, and they can be prepared in a thousand ways. We all know how delicious French fries, baked potatoes, or even better, potato chips, whether they're suitable for a diet or not. Precisely because of this, and the great versatility of potatoes, today we're making baked potatoes without using the oven, so we won't be heating up our kitchen so much that we'll feel sick.

We know that cooking in the summer isn't exactly the most exciting thing, just like turning on the oven. That's why today's recipe is made in a pan, so we can cook our potatoes just long enough before turning off the heat. Let's find out what we need to make baked potatoes without using the oven, and more importantly, the quantities.

Of course, these will depend on the number of people we need to serve, so I prefer not to include them in the recipe.

Let's start with the potatoes, of course. Wash them thoroughly, removing any dirt from the outside. Then, make incisions about half a centimeter apart and not too deep. Take the potatoes and rub them with salt, rosemary, and, if you like (I didn't include them in the recipe because it depends on your taste), rub them with spices, like curry. Take the foil and add half a clove of garlic per potato and a little rosemary, preferably fresh.

How to make baked potatoes in a pan

Rub the potatoes well and seal the edges with foil. Place the potatoes in the pan, sealing the edges well. Cover with a lid, but leave it slightly open to prevent the heat from evaporating and thus condensation from forming. One hour is the estimated cooking time for these potatoes, but be careful, because the larger they are, the longer it will take. Once the potatoes are ready, you can open them and enjoy. Enjoy!
