You can serve a regular bun in a completely different way. Small portions in your hand look like dessert

You don't have to bake a bun in a large baking dish. You can make small cupcakes from older rolls and apples that are easy to slice and look like dessert on a plate. They stay wonderfully soft inside, while the edges of the pastry brown nicely in the oven.

Žemlovka is a traditional sweet dish that makes great use of old white bread. If you prepare it in smaller molds instead of a baking dish, you will get individual portions. You will not lose any of the popular combination of bread, apples and fragrant cinnamon.

Serve the small rolls while still lukewarm or let them cool completely. You can lightly sugar them before serving. Thanks to the individual portions, they are suitable not only as a sweet lunch, but also as a simple dessert with coffee. Another interesting option for a quick dessert can be a hand roll or other apple treats.
