Neighborhood Cafe in Tukwila is a good place for a Filipino brunch before flying

Driving to Neighborhood Cafe in Tukwila allows you to enjoy a hearty Filipino brunch and reach Sea-Tac Airport in about ten minutes.

Many travelers debate whether it's better to arrive at the airport early or right on time. For flights from Sea-Tac, there's a third option: stop at the Neighborhood Cafe in Tukwila for a good meal and then drive ten minutes to the airport with a full stomach and the energy boost from the coffee.

For a savory brunch, hash combines crispy suckling pig with even crispier potatoes. It's served with a sweet and savory sawsawan sauce made with soy sauce.

Among the sweet treats, the banana bread French toast has the soft texture of bread with the sweet, fried crust of toast. It has a nuttier flavor than eggy and comes with lightly caramelized bananas on top.

The drinks menu is extensive: European-style espressos, milk tea with or without tapioca pearls, matcha, and coffees with Asian flavors like pandan, ube, or black sesame. Even without a meal, it's a convenient stop for a coffee on your way to the airport.

The shop opens at 7:00 and closes at 15:00, a little later on weekends. Therefore, it's not suitable for night flights.

Neighborhood also has two locations at Sea-Tac Airport: one in the ticket area and another at Gate D, the only places in the airport where you can buy bubble tea. The menu at these locations is much more limited.
