Paradise Dynasty x O.BBA Has New K-BBQ Beef Xiao Long Bao—Is It Worth Trying?

The collab we didn’t see coming, but are actually excited for—Paradise Dynasty has teamed up with O.BBA Jjajang & BBQ to drop a limited‑time Korean BBQ Hanwoo Beef Xiao Long Bao (XLB), available at all outlets in Singapore until 30 April 2026. At first glance, the xiao long bao is eye-catching, sporting Paradise Dynasty’s signature 18‑fold dough, dyed red and blue to echo the South Korean flag.

Inside, each dumpling is filled with 25g of Hanwoo beef that’s lightly grilled to mimic the smokiness of Korean BBQ, along with a spoonful of rich, savoury broth. We found the XLB slightly on the sweet side, thanks to the Hanwoo beef, often dubbed the “Wagyu of Korea” for its intense marbling and rich, beefy palate.

In a way, it tastes similar to the beef in Korean bulgogi, with a hint of smokiness and the same tender, slightly chewy texture. If you enjoy slightly sweet, umami flavours with a subtle nutty note, this will be right up your alley. Do note that this limited-time xiao long bao isn’t sold on its own.

Instead, you’ll get a complimentary three-piece serving with every 10-piece xiao long bao ordered. This offer is exclusive to OCBC Credit or Debit Cardmembers, and can be redeemed as many times as you wish.

If you’d like to add more dishes to your meal, we recommend Paradise Dynasty’s Prawn and Pork Dumplings in Chilli Vinaigrette ($10.80++) and Scrambled Egg White with Fish and Conpoy ($15.80++). The former features meaty dumplings tossed in a slightly spicy, tangy Sichuan sauce, while the latter is a unique dish that replicates the flavour of crab using egg whites, premium dried scallops, and fish. For dessert, try the Red Bean Glutinous Rice Roll topped with Soybean Powder (RM6++), humorously known as Rolling Donkey.

It gets its name from its quirky appearance, which resembles a donkey rolling on the ground and kicking up dust. This classic Beijing snack features soft, chewy glutinous rice rolls filled with sweet red bean paste, generously dusted with fragrant golden soybean powder for a nutty contrast.
