Cómo guardar los brownies para que no pierdan su textura
La clave para conservar la textura de un brownie es dejarlo entero en el molde hasta el momento de servirlo.
Cutting the brownies allows air to circulate around the edges and dry them out, so it's best to leave them whole in the pan until serving. If the pan has an airtight lid, you can use it to cover them once they've cooled. Otherwise, it's best to remove them and store them in an airtight container.
If you don't have an airtight container handy, Martha Stewart's method involves wrapping the brownies in cling film and then in aluminum foil, squeezing them tightly before placing them in a large resealable bag. This way they'll keep at room temperature for about four or five days.
The only exception is brownies made with dairy products or other perishable ingredients, such as fresh cherries, citrus fruits, or crispy bacon. In that case, the method is the same, but they must be refrigerated.
In warm weather, it's best to refrigerate them, covered with plastic wrap before storing them in a container. This prevents them from absorbing refrigerator odors, and they can last up to two weeks. They can also be frozen for up to three months, wrapped in an airtight container or a resealable bag. However, if they contain cream cheese, fresh fruit, or frosting, it's best not to freeze them, as freezing could affect their texture.
