A Champagne-inspired IPA is now available across a major UK pub estate.

“To support the launch, Powder Monkey has refreshed Bubbleheads' visual identity and created a point-of-sale campaign highlighting its distinctive yellow branding and the tagline,”

Bubbleheads Brut IPA, brewed by Gosport-based Powder Monkey Brewing Co, has been listed by Fuller's, giving the Hampshire brewery access to 337 pubs and hotels across the country.

The 5 per cent ABV, gluten-free beer is now available to Fuller's managed and tenanted sites nationwide.

Jon Radford, managing director of Powder Monkey Group, said: "Securing the Fuller's listing is a significant step for Powder Monkey and gives us a fantastic opportunity to introduce Bubbleheads to a much wider audience.

"It's a beer that really stands out, both in terms of its style and the story behind it, and we're excited to see where this opportunity takes both Bubbleheads and Powder Monkey."

The listing marks a significant step for the brewery as it aims to grow Bubbleheads into a flagship brand beyond its south coast origins.

Brewed in the Brut style, Bubbleheads uses enzymes to fully ferment out residual sugars, resulting in a highly effervescent, light-bodied beer with a dry, crisp finish.

Amarillo and Cashmere hops add citrus and floral notes.

The beer is also a tribute to the Royal Navy's diving and submarine communities, with "Bubbleheads" being a nickname for submariners.

The beer supports the Vernon Mine Warfare and Diving Monument at Gunwharf Quays.

Mark Hamblin, head brewer at Powder Monkey Brewing Co., said: "We wanted Bubbleheads to offer something genuinely different from a typical IPA.

"The Brut style gives it a light body, lively effervescence and a crisp, bone-dry finish, with a Champagne-like quality that makes it incredibly refreshing.

"It's still a relatively unusual style in UK pubs, so we're excited to give more drinkers the chance to discover something different."

To support the launch, Powder Monkey has refreshed Bubbleheads' visual identity and created a point-of-sale campaign highlighting its distinctive yellow branding and the tagline, "Light. Effervescent. Refreshingly Dry."

Bubbleheads is available in keg and can be ordered by Fuller's pubs through Nectar Imports.
