JJ Foodservice strengthens delivery capabilities

Wholesaler’s fleet update enables more deliveries to be completed in a single journey Food and drink wholesaler JJ Foodservice has added 20 new vehicles to its delivery fleet, supporting its commitment to providing a reliable, high-quality service for UK customers.

The investment forms part of JJ Foodservice’s ongoing programme to maintain a modern, efficient fleet that can support growing customer demand and an expanding product range. Chief operating officer Kaan Hendekli said: “Our fleet plays a vital role in delivering the service our customers rely on every day. As our business continues to grow, investing in modern vehicles helps us maintain the high standards our customers expect while giving our drivers the tools they need to work efficiently and safely.”

The new vehicles join JJ Foodservice’s 155-vehicle fleet and will support deliveries across the company’s national branch network. Supplied by long-term fleet partner Isuzu Truck UK, the vehicles have been selected for their reliability, performance and suitability for urban and regional delivery routes. The wholesaler also recently launched a live delivery tracking app to give hospitality operator customers real-time visibility of their order.

JJ Foodservice completed a cloud IT upgrade earlier this year, moving its core business systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365, to boost service efficiency.
