Stone & Wood Northern Rivers Lager, a favorite among the local Northern Rivers community for the past two years, is our most sustainable beer to date, is further improving its sustainability, and will now be distributed nationally.

Northern Rivers Lager is now brewed with certified sustainable hops, certified sustainable malt from Voyager Craft Malt in Whitton, and malt from Boortmalt, supporting barley farmers in the GrainCorp Next program. In total, at least 75% of the grains used are sustainably sourced, contributing to a reduced impact on the soil and water where it is produced.

Every beer begins its journey on a farm. This is our first collaboration with GrainCorp Next, an initiative that supports farmers in growing more sustainably. Australian farmers are world leaders in adopting sustainable agriculture, and we want to support them in going even further. That's why we've teamed up with our supply chain partners, those who transport the grain, malt it, and sell the beer, to help fund initiatives on the farms.

Inspired by the region surrounding our home and our homeland, Northern Rivers Lager is a bright and refreshing beer, easy to drink and perfect for chatting, and one of the most sustainable beers on the market.

Stone & Wood Northern Rivers Lager beer is being distributed nationally through Liquorland and will continue to be available at Stone & Wood's headquarters in the Northern Rivers region.
