Matriarch Day marks 10 years of Co-Conspirators Brewing Co

Matriarch Day 2026 will take place on Saturday 10 October at Co-Conspirators’ Brunswick brewpub, with the full day of festivities promising everything from special beer releases and homebrewer specials to live tattooing by tattoo artist Tatts by Carly, who returns to the brewpub with a new collection of tattoos inspired by the brewery and its returning Matriarch Day. At the heart of the celebration is the brewery’s flagship New England IPA, The Matriarch, pouring alongside special Matriarch birthday releases, including Triple Matriarch – a 10 per cent ABV Triple IPA brewed especially for the occasion.

The event will also feature a dedicated Merri-Mashers Matriarch Tasting Bar, showcasing a collection of unique Matriarch-inspired variations homebrewed by members of the Merri-Mashers Home Brew Club using KegLand Fresh Wort Kits. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to taste and vote for their favourite Matriarch variants, with the public’s favourite announced later in the day.

This year’s Matriarch Day will be held on Saturday 10 October at Co-Conspirators Brewpub in Brunswick. The tasting bar will operate from midday until 6pm while stocks last, with people’s choice voting held between midday and 5pm.
