Paris Baguette Opens At Northpoint City With Macaron Ice Cream, Nutella Banana Danishes And More

With most of Paris Baguette’s outlets situated in the town area, Northies would be delighted to hear that the South Korean-based bakery chain has opened a new branch in Northpoint City at Yishun.

Those who have visited the bakery’s outlets in Seoul may fondly remember their ice bars. This new Paris Baguette outlet at Northpoint brings those sorbet bars, mochi ice creams and more, to our shores, perfect for the sweltering weather. We loved the Real Watermelon Ice Bar ($2.90), a refreshingly sweet strawberry sorbet sprinkled with crunchy chocolate bits, and finished with melon ice cream.

If you’re a mint chocolate lover—just like Lee Dongwook’s character in his new drama, Tale of The Nine-Tailed—go for their Real Mint Chocolate Ice Bar ($3.50). This pick-me-up comprises creamy mint ice cream coated with indulgent chocolate.

Otherwise, get the Cookie And Cream Macaron Ice Cream ($5.50). This sweet treat comprises a milky chunk of cookies and cream ice cream, snug between huge macaron shells.

For those who love Paris Baguette’s pastries, help yourselves to one of their danishes. Go for the Kaya Butter Danish ($4.70), an upgraded version of kaya toasts with a flaky, airy pastry, instead of bread.

Otherwise, the Nutella Banana Danish ($4.70) comes with caramelised chunks of banana atop a buttery hazelnut cocoa spread. A bundle of three danishes also go at a discounted price of $12.50.

Bring your family along and treat your children to some delicious mains off their new kids menu, exclusive to their Northpoint branch. For something adorable, the cute, decorated Mini Burgers ($8.90), featuring a pair of ham and cheese, and egg salad sliders. Otherwise, prep your cams for the Double Cheese Tortilla Pizza ($8.90) which comes complete with stretchy cheese and a caramelised crust.

Also, feel free to order your choice of mains in a Set ($10.90) for an additional Nutella Marshmallow Danish and glass of plain or chocolate milk to accompany the main. For other cafes, also check out Flipper’s, a newly opened souffle pancake cafe originally from Japan.

Otherwise, durian-lovers can check out DurianBB which offers MSW polo bao and more. Address: 930 Yishun Avenue 2, #02-16/17, Northpoint City, Singapore 769098
