Sentosa Has Launched All-New Tropical-Inspired Ice Cream Flavours With Udders

If you’re spending a pleasant afternoon relaxing on one of Sentosa’s beaches, we reckon you’d want some nice, cool ice cream to really help you unwind. To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Sentosa has collaborated with Udders to bring you limited edition Golden Jubilee ice creams, perfect for enjoying on the sun-kissed island and pretty much anywhere else.

The two brand new flavours, namely Coco Palawan and Mango Siloso, are inspired by Sentosa’s fascinating history. For those unaware, the island was once home to a pineapple plantation around Mount Serapong, along with many coconut and mango trees planted by its former villagers.

The aforementioned fruits have been worked into these all-natural, halal-certified ice cream flavours to great effect. The Coco Palawan ice cream combines the flavours of pineapple and coconut to create a super refreshing dessert.

It tasted tangy and nutty, with hints of tartness thanks to the inclusion of lime. And like most of Udders’ ice cream, it had a rich milkiness that made it such a joy to eat.

Those who prefer a bolder, fruitier taste will love the Mango Siloso ice cream. Juicy Alphonso mangoes give this dessert its citrus notes, and the presence of pomelo pulp adds both sweetness and texture.

We thought it was creamier than the previous ice cream, but also a little less sweet. Both ice cream flavours are free of preservatives, gluten, eggs, soy, and nuts (though they are made in a facility that also processes nuts and soy).
