Bubble tea fans, you have something to look forward to the next time you’re in town.

The Whale Tea Opens At Takashimaya With 1-For-1 Drinks, Pistachio BBT And More

The Whale Tea has opened at Takashimaya with 1-for-1 drinks only from 18 October to 20 October, 12pm to 8pm. The popular bubble tea chain from China has six outlets islandwide, including their latest opening in Orchard.

They’re known for their unique tea flavours and delicious brown sugar pearls, simmered for three hours. Each cup of tea is prepared to order, using their fancy tea brewing machine, for optimum extraction and taste.

If you’re here to enjoy the 1-for-1 promotion, take note that the deal applies to these selected drinks: Fresh Mango Osmanthus Green Tea (U.P. $4.70), Perfect Grapefruit (U.P. $5.80), Brown Sugar Boba Milk (U.P. $5.60), Classic Milk Tea (U.P. $4.10), Honey Dong Ding Oolong (U.P. $4.30), and Dark Plum Flower Mint Tea (U.P. $5.30). This means you can snag a cup of bubble tea for just $2.05!

While you’re there, don’t miss out on their new pistachio series, too. There are three drinks to choose from: Pistachio Camellia Oolong ($7.90), Pistachio Jin Guan Yin ($7.90), and Pistachio Avocado ($8.90).

The first drink features oolong tea with sweet pistachio cream and paste, while the second option is essentially pistachio-infused milk tea. For something non-caffeinated, get the Pistachio Avocado, a smoothie-like concoction of creamy avocado and nutty pistachio.

Another famous beverage brand worth checking out is Go Ba, a Taiwanese fruit tea chain that’s just set up shop at Raffles City. Alternatively try Matchaya’s new pistachio soft serve, available for a limited time only! Address: 391A Orchard Road, #B208-7, Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Singapore 238873

Opening hours: Daily 10am to 10pm
