With just a few ingredients and in 10 minutes I can make 50 jam biscuits, they'll be eaten straight away

Just a few ingredients and in 10 minutes you can prepare 50 jam biscuits, saving your snack and breakfast.

You can serve these delicious cookies for breakfast or as a snack. They're easy and stress-free to make, with just a few simple steps for a stunning result. Don't buy anything for breakfast; I'm sure these cookies will be delicious and you'll make a great impression, and your family will thank you.

With just a few ingredients like butter, flour, sugar, lemon, and eggs, you make the dough. Let the prepared shortcrust pastry rest, and then shape the cookies. Fill the cookies with your choice of jam—you can opt for berry jam, strawberry jam, or apricot jam. You can also use a different filling to please everyone.

Jam biscuits only take 10 minutes and a few ingredients, try them too!

Once baked, the cookies can be stored in a jar, airtight container, or tin in a cool, dry place; they'll last for a couple of weeks. Follow the recipe and you'll see how satisfying they are.

2 eggs

200 g of flour

60 g of sugar

150 g of butter

grated peel of an untreated lemon

jam as needed

Jam biscuits procedure

To make these cookies, start by preparing all the ingredients on a work surface, to speed up the preparation of the shortcrust pastry. Wash the lemon thoroughly, and when peeling it, be careful not to remove the bitter part underneath.

Place the sifted flour, sugar, eggs, and softened butter in a bowl (it is recommended to take it out of the refrigerator half an hour before preparing it).

Add the grated zest of the untreated lemon, knead well to obtain a soft dough, wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for half an hour.

Once the time has passed, roll it out on a lightly floured work surface or we can roll it out between two sheets of baking paper.

Then, using a cookie cutter, we shape the cookies, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, press down lightly in the center, spread the jam on top, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes. Turn the oven off once cooked. Let them cool slightly and then serve the cookies on a serving platter.

Enjoy your break or breakfast!
