Music isn't the only thing accompanying Shakira during her twelve nights in Madrid. The new Shakira Stadium, part of Iberdrola Music, boasts a wide range of food and drink options, designed for different moments of the experience: from a quick bite before the concert to a sit-down meal of haute cuisine. Compass Group is managing the food and beverage project, which brings together 36 brands in the Macondo Gastronomy area.

Street food, Latin American flavors and gluten-free options

The selection combines fast-paced formats with cuisines from different regions. Among the most recognizable options are La Martinuca, specializing in Spanish omelets; La Diez Milanesas, with Argentinian-inspired recipes; Grab Sandwiches, with international-style sandwiches; and Wild Dogs, with artisanal hot dogs. Also, for those with celiac disease, there are gluten-free artisanal pizzas from Pizza Natura and grilled meats from Coren Grill, featuring Galician products.

Latin American flavors play a prominent role, in keeping with the artist's aesthetic. La Taquilla Street Food prepares burritos and tacos; Las Arepas del Pueblo, stuffed Colombian arepas; Tequendama Grill, contemporary Colombian cuisine; and Sabor del Perú, dishes like salchipapas and chaufa rice. The menu is rounded out with Mexican, Lebanese, Ecuadorian, Uruguayan, and Argentinian options.

For those who prefer lighter options, Purakaí will offer açaí bowls and smoothies, while Mahalo Poké will feature customizable Hawaiian bowls. The culinary tour also includes artisanal ice cream from Bico de Xeado, pastries and specialty coffee from Habaziro Concept, and cheesecakes from Sandra Cheesecake. Among their offerings is the Idiazábal cheesecake, recognized as the Best Classic Cheesecake in Spain in 2026.

Another special area open to the public is dedicated to "Shakira's friends." This concept, led by Rafa Zafra, features the collaboration of Diego Guerrero, Sacha Hormaechea, and Roberto Ruiz. The four chefs have created signature sandwiches designed for enjoying during a major music event.

What to eat in the VIP area

The VIP experience, managed by Match Hospitality, is catered by Vilaplana Catering, Compass Group's fine dining brand. Its menu blends Latin American influences, such as totopos with guacamole and Tajín, causa cevicheada, and Venezuelan tequeños, with Spanish and international dishes. These include croquettes made with cocido (a traditional Spanish stew), a vegan steak tartare, and a New York-style pastrami bun roll.

The proposal also includes a show cooking area featuring Angus beef roast with chimichurri sauce, as well as desserts and ice creams from Rocambolesc, Jordi Roca's brand. Chefs Hugo Muñoz, of Ugo Chan, and Roberto Ruiz, of Barracuda MX, will also participate, offering dishes such as tripe gyoza, tomato with bluefin tuna and bottarga, and corn tostadas with smoked marlin or cochinita pibil. With formats ranging from grab-and-go to signature dishes, gastronomy is an integral part of the residency experience.
