Shake Shack Outram Has New Items Including Black Sesame Concrete And Buttermilk Chicken Burger

Shake Shack at Outram Come this Friday, Shake Shack will open the doors of their second outlet at Outram. Just a stone’s throw away from Outram Park MRT Station, this burger chain from New York is the first of its kind. Shake Shack Review: First Look At Their Signature Burgers, Pandan Milkshake And Gula Melaka Ice-Crea…

Shake Shack Outram Has New Items Including Black Sesame Concrete And Buttermilk Chicken Burger

Other than a highly IG-worthy backdrop, new additions to Shake Shack’s second outlet include their exclusive Chick’ n Shack burger ($9.20) . Singapore is the first country in the region to offer this 100% natural chicken burger.

Marinated in a bath of buttermilk, the chicken breast patty is tenderised to a tee—resulting in a crunchy, deep-fried breading followed by soft and juicy meat. Pickles, lettuce, and a light mayonnaise-based sauce spike each bite of the burger with added texture and flavour, cutting any tinge of greasiness down a notch.

Those looking to end their meal on a sweet note can in addition order their new Concrete flavours. For those who aren’t familiar, Concrete is Shake Shack’s version of McDonald’s McFlurry.

Mix-ins such as brownies and fruits are churned into a house-made frozen vanilla custard. Each outlet offers its own special flavour of Concrete and the one at Outram is no exception.

We highly recommend trying both the Eye of the Tiger and Open Sesame flavours. Like the burgers, the Concretes in addition come with a hefty quotation tag of $7.50 a cup. The Eye of the Tiger is a sweet and tart blend featuring frozen raspberries and lychee, buttery shortbread chunks, and a clever sprinkle of fresh lime zest that elevates each spoonful of the ice cream.

The Open Sesame Concrete tastes intense, just like the sesame paste dessert it’s inspired by. Components such as golden chocolate bits and mini brownies from the Plain Vanilla go surprisingly well with the sesame savour too. OG fans of Shake Shack can still look forward to the classic ShackBurger ($9.20) , ‘Shroom Burger ($10.80) , and more as they are all offered in this new outlet.

I guess it’s time for sweet revenge, as the people in the East will have to make their way down to Outram to check out what’s all the hype about!
