A filling dinner made with whatever you have on hand. Make it once and you'll be making it again and again

This casserole is a delicious dinner for the whole family, packed with flavor, vitamins, and nutrients. This dish combines aromatic sausage, crispy beans, and gooey cheese.

Ingredients · Servings 3-4 people
  • 300 g of good quality sausage
  • 200 g green beans
  • 120 g red or black beans
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 150 g yellow cheese
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of marjoram
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • butter for frying
  • parsley to serve
Method · 1 h
  1. If using fresh green beans, trim the ends, cut them into 3-centimeter pieces, and cook them in salted water for about 5-7 minutes until slightly tender. For frozen beans, simply place them in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain.
  2. Chop the onion and cut the sausage into slices or medium-sized pieces. Sauté them in heated butter until golden brown. Finally, add the pressed garlic and diced bell pepper. Cook for about 3 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and add the green beans to the pan. Rinse the green beans in a strainer under running water, drain, and add them to the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the contents of the pan to an ovenproof dish or several small dishes if making single-serving portions. Sprinkle the top with grated yellow cheese.
  6. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts.
  7. Remove the casserole and let it rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container and use within 2-3 days.

Place the dish in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts.
